PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article excellent in air permeability and touch of nonwoven fabric.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article of the current invention has: an absorbent body composed of a top sheet, a back sheet, and an absorber and an exterior body composed of an exterior nonwoven fabric sheet and an interior nonwoven fabric sheet. In a periphery of a waist opening, periphery of leg openings, a front side waist area, a rear side waist area, and a crotch area, a plurality of stretchable elastic members are arranged between the exterior nonwoven fabric sheet and the interior nonwoven fabric sheet and bonded to the exterior nonwoven fabric sheet and the interior nonwoven fabric sheet.
