PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handcart reduction gear capable of providing a buffer function by magnetic resistance, when moving, and a handcart using the same.SOLUTION: A handcart reduction gear 300 is applied for a wheel shaft of a handcart, and comprises: a wheel 400； a following gear 500； a reluctance motor 600； and a resistance element 700. The wheel 400 is attached to a wheel shaft in a manner of being capable of turning, and has a drive gear 410 which rotates following to rotation of the wheel 400. The following gear 500 is provided on one side of the wheel shaft, and the following gear 500 is engaged to the drive gear 410 and is driven, and has a connection part 510. The reluctance motor 600 is connected to the connection part 510 and is driven by the following gear 500.
