PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can more efficiently suppress liquid remaining on and liquid returning to a surface sheet, with which the body is hardly sticky, and further, which quickly deals with a case when a large amount of body fluid is excreted at a time, and fits on the body of a wearer, and has superior flexibility to follow the motion of the body well.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a front surface sheet on the skin abutment side, a rear surface sheet on the non-skin abutment side, and an absorber interposed between both the sheets.
