PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in both wearing feeling and absorbency.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes a front surface sheet constituting a skin abutment surface, a back surface sheet constituting a skin non-abutment surface and an absorbing layer interposed between both sheets. For the absorbing layer, an upper absorbing layer 5 and a lower absorbing layer 6 of different areas are laminated. A level difference is formed in the absorbing layer, a recessed part 7 extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article is formed integrally on the front surface sheet and the absorbing layer, and the recessed part 7 is formed over the high part and low part of the level difference.
