PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device of a stool member, which has a simple device configuration and can be easily handled at a place where water is used.SOLUTION: A lifting device 1 of a stool member comprises a stool member 2 on which a person can be seated, and a drive unit 3 for driving the stool member 2. The drive unit 3 comprises a drive part 31 telescopically driven by a fluid, and a circulation tube 32 which is connected to the drive part 31 and circulates the fluid to the drive part. The drive part 31 has an expansion/contraction part E that can change between an expansion state where it is expanded by filling the inside with the fluid and a contraction state where it is contracted by discharging the fluid inside. The expansion/contraction part E is configured by stacking a plurality of expansion/contraction part units U1, U2 having length in a horizontal direction. The stool member 2 is elevated or lowered by the expansion and contraction of the drive part 31.
