PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform satisfactory massage to a wide range of a treatment area from a shoulder part to a hip part of a user.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine 1 comprises a massage mechanism 7 having treatment elements for massaging a treatment part of a user, and a movement rail 8 disposed along a vertical direction for guiding the massage mechanism 7 in the vertical direction. The treatment elements include a first treatment element 14 located on the upper side viewed from the massage mechanism 7, and a second treatment element 15 located on the lower side viewed from the massage mechanism 7.
