PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a full massage effect not only on the shoulders but also on the lower back.SOLUTION: A chair-type massage machine 1 is provided with a seat 3 and a backrest 2 which is placed at a back part of the seat 3 and provided so that it can support the back of a user U. An interior part of the backrest 2 is provided with: a rail 9 which extends along the vertical direction and a back massage section 6 that is able to move vertically along the rail 9 and massages the back of the user U.
