PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of effectively massaging the thigh or waist of a user by preventing a massage position of the user by a side massage unit from deviating in front and back directions even when a seat is moved frontward and backward when the machine is used.SOLUTION: This chair type massage machine 1 includes a seat 2 freely movable frontward and backward, and a backrest 4 formed on the rear of the seat 2 and having a back massage mechanism disposed thereon.
