PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved methods for stimulating T cells to increase the robustness of T cells to be used in cell therapy protocols more suitable for use in human therapy.SOLUTION: There is a need for improved T-cell stimulation methods capable of increasing the robustness of T-cells for use in cell therapy protocols that are more suitable for use in human therapy. A T cell with enhanced immune stimulating ability is formed by utilizing a biodegradable device with a biodegradable support that contains one or more agents reactive to T cell surface functional groups.
