PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generation device which depresses combination of positive ions and negative ions in vicinity of an air outlet, thereby increasing the number of supply ions and mixing the positive ions and the negative ions in a space having a wide range.SOLUTION: An ion generation device comprises: a blower mechanism 190 and a first duct 120 and a second duct 130 which compose a flow path of gas blown by the blower mechanism 190 and are positioned adjacent to each other. Moreover, the ion generation device comprises: a needle-like first discharge electrode 140 which projects from an inner wall on the opposite side from the second duct 130 across the first duct 120 and is applied with a positive voltage and a first induction electrode 150 which is positioned so as to face the first discharge electrode 140 in an inner wall on a side of the second duct 130, of the first duct 120.
