To provide a blood purification device capable of inhibiting air from entering a drainage subdividing chamber in an initialization process.SOLUTION: A blood purification device includes: a drainage subdividing chamber K3; a first drainage discharge line L3a; a second drainage discharge line L3b; a discharge part P7 for discharging drainage stored in the drainage subdividing chamber K3 to the outside of the device; a residual amount detection part for detecting a residual amount of the drainage stored in the drainage subdividing chamber K3; a determination part 5 for determining whether or not the amount of the drainage in the drainage subdividing chamber K3 reaches a reference residual amount based on a result of the detection by the residual amount detection part; and a control part 6 for controlling the discharge part P7.
