PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for promoting evaporation, which promotes evaporation of a liquid without using a heater and a blower.SOLUTION: The evaporation promotion device 100 includes: a liquid storage part 120 for storing the liquid 130 and an ion generating device 180 for generating an ion in the air by discharge and diffusing the ion toward the liquid 130.
