PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling device for a rod-shaped vegetable improving workability in supplying a rod-shaped vegetable to a stage where the rod-shaped vegetable is peeled and improving general productivity by the improved workability.SOLUTION: A peeling device for a rod-shaped vegetable includes: rod-shaped vegetable support means 40 supporting movably a rod-shaped vegetable W along a movement path； a plurality of blade means 50 arranged on both sides of the movement path； rod-shaped vegetable supply chain conveyor means 10 feeding the rod-shaped vegetable W to the rod-shaped vegetable support means 40； rod-shaped vegetable pressing means 100 for pressing the rod-shaped vegetable W supported by the rod-shaped vegetable support means 40； and a rod-shaped vegetable pressing chain conveyor 70 moving the rod-shaped vegetable pressing means 100 along the movement path. The rod-shaped vegetable pressing means 100 includes: a rod-shaped vegetable pressing needle 113 pressing the rod-shaped vegetable W； and a pressing member rotation structure rotating the rod-shaped vegetable pressing member 113.
