PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of surely and efficiently giving an appropriate scratch while preventing collapse of the plant body and stem breaking at the time of scarification on the plant body.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a plant body processing apparatus for introducing a drug into a plant body comprises holding means for holding a part of the plant body and scarification means for scratching the held part of the plant body. The holding means comprises: a supporting handle having a receiving section for supporting the part of the plant body in the vicinity of its front end portion a pressing arm having a pressing section in the vicinity of its front end portion for pressing and holding the part of the plant body supported by the receiving section and an engaging section for engaging the supporting handle and the pressing arm so as to be freely opened/closed.
