PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplantation apparatus capable of transplanting plants while widening a gap between plants in parallel direction of clamping instruments, and capable of widening a gap between plants at higher positional accuracy compared with a case of using a pantograph mechanism.SOLUTION: A transplantation apparatus which transplants plants between a plurality of medium boards growing a plurality of parallelly planted plants comprises: a plurality of clamping instruments 11 each of which has two clamping pieces 11a,11b that clamp a plant； a support rail 12 which movably supports each clamping piece 11a,11b such that a distance between the clamping instruments 11 and a distance between two clamping pieces 11a,11b, which each clamping instrument 11 has, change； and a cam mechanism 13 which moves the clamping pieces 11a,11b along the support rail 12.【課題】挾持具の並列方向における植物の間隔を広げて移植することができ、しかもパンダグラフ機構を用いる場合に比べて高い位置精度で植物の間隔を広げることができる移植装置を提供する。【解決手段】並植された複数の植物を育てる複数の培地盤間で植物を移植する移植装置において、植物を挾持する２つの挾持片１１ａ，１１ｂをそれぞれ有する複数の挾持具１１と、該挾持具１１間の距離及び各挾持具１１が有する２つの挾持片１１ａ，１１ｂ間の距離が変化するように、各挾持片１１ａ，１１ｂを移動可能に支持する支持レール１２と、支持レール１２に沿って挾持片１１ａ，１１ｂを移動させるカム機構１３とを備える。【選択図】図２
