PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type disposable diaper capable of obtaining an excellent wearing feeling by stretching and contracting a side flap in an appropriate state matched with the body line of a wearer when the front body and back body of the diaper are fixed by a fixing tape.
SOLUTION: The tape type disposable diaper 1 includes: an absorber body 14 comprising the front body 2, a crotch part 4 and the back body 6, wherein a plurality of sheets 18, 20 are laminated while an absorber 22 is clapmed by them side flaps 8 extended from both side edges 6a, 6b of the back body 6 of the absorber body 14 and a fixing tape 10 disposed at the distal end part of the side flaps 8. Stretching stress Pb in a tension direction X of the fixing tape 10 at the side edge part 8b on the crotch part side of the side flap 8 is larger than stretching stress Pa in the tension direction X of the fixing tape at the side edge part 8a on the back body end part side of the side flap 8.
