PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type disposable diaper capable of simply fastening a fastening tape at the time of wearing of the diaper and capable of obtaining good wearing feeling.
SOLUTION: The tape type disposable diaper 1 includes an absorbent body 14 which is constituted of the front body 2, a crotch part 4 and a back body 6 and formed by laminating a plurality of sheets 18 and 20 so as to hold an absorber 22 therebetween, the side flaps 8 extending from both side edges 6a and 6b of the back body 6 of the absorbent body 14 and the fastening tapes 10 arranged to the leading end parts of the side flaps 8 and constituted so that the stretching stress Pb in the tensile direction X of the fastening tapes 10 in the parts 8b on the root sides of the side flaps 8 becomes larger than the stretching stress Pa in the tensile direction X of the fastening tapes 10 in the parts 8a on the leading end side of the side flaps 8.
