PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type disposable diaper which effectively prevents a fixing tape from being taken out unintentionally, can be easily taken out under both conditions that the wearer lies on the back or on the stomach.
SOLUTION: The diaper body 50 includes a structure where an absorbent 22 is included between layers of a top sheet 18 comprising at least one part of a liquid-permeable material and a back sheet 20 comprising a liquid non-permeable material and a pair of side flaps 56, 58 are composed as another member different from the diaper body 50 and arranged on both side edges of the back part 6 to extend more outward from both side edges 50a, 50b of the diaper body 50 and a pair of fixing tapes 60, 62 are joined to the outer edges of the side flaps 56, 58 to extend more outward from the outer edges 56b, 58b of the side flaps 56, 58 and a tape-type disposable diaper 1A comprises the diaper body 50, the pair of side flaps 56, 58, and at least one pair of fixing tapes 60, 62 where the side flaps 56, 58 are weakly joined on the outer surface of the back part 6 of the diaper body 50.
