PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent capable of continuously suppressing the generation of malodor originating from urine by clarifying a malodor component more highly contributing to uraroma than ammonia in a living environment and inhibiting an enzyme related to the generation.
SOLUTION: There are provided the beta-glucuronidase inhibitor consisting of solvent extract of a plant selected from pimento, basil, peppermint, thyme, rosemary, ginger, sage and celery, and a composition for uraroma generation suppression contains the beta-glucuronidase inhibitor and a method is for suppressing the generation of the uraroma. A discharge type product is composed by storing the beta-glucuronidase inhibitor in a container provided with a discharge device, and a uraroma generation suppressing effect is imparted to a sanitary product by containing the beta-glucuronidase inhibitor.
