PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a fault that seeds cannot be efficiently disinfected because of the limited amount of seeds disinfected at a time in a conventional rice seed hot-water disinfecting apparatus adapted to perform hot water dipping of seeds in a hot water tank for a predetermined time (e.g., 10 minutes) and to replace the seeds with the following seeds at the termination of hot water disinfection.SOLUTION: This seed disinfecting facility including a seed cooling tank (11) in a post-process of a hot water disinfecting tank (1) is adapted to transfer the seeds while being dipped in hot water in the hot water disinfecting tank (1) to perform hot water disinfection, then to cool the seeds by transferring the seeds from the cooling start end side to the cooling terminal end side in the seed cooling tank (11) that stores cooling water, and to discharge the seeds finished with cooling in the seed cooling tank (11) by reversing a bucket (12) for storing the seeds.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 従来の種籾の温湯消毒装置では、温湯タンクでは所定時間(例えば10分)にわたり温湯浸漬し、温湯消毒が終了すると次の種子に入れ替えるものであり、一度に消毒できる種子量が制限され能率的に種子の消毒ができないという不具合があった。【解決手段】 温湯消毒槽(1)の後工程に種子冷却槽(11)を設け、種子を温湯消毒槽(1)内の温湯に浸漬しながら移送して温湯消毒を行った後、冷却水を貯留する種子冷却槽(11)で冷却始端側から冷却終端側へ移送して冷却する構成とし、種子冷却槽(11)で冷却を終えた種子を、該種子を収容するバケット(12)を反転させて排出する構成とした種子消毒設備とする。【選択図】 図3
