PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such deficiency in a conventional seed rice hot-water disinfecting apparatus that the number of seeds to be disinfected at a time is limited and seeds can not be efficiently disinfected because seeds are immersed in hot water in a hot-water tank for a prescribed period of time (e.g., 10 minutes) and the seeds are replaced with next seeds when disinfection in hot water is finished.SOLUTION: The seed disinfecting apparatus includes a hot-water disinfection tank (1), and a circulation transfer device (3) for circulating and transferring a plurality of storage containers (2) in which seed bags are stored while immersing the storage containers in hot water within the hot-water disinfection tank (1). The seed disinfecting apparatus also includes a seed cooling tank (11) disposed in a post-process of the hot-water disinfection tank (1).
