PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bifurcation stent system which can support a body lumen by suppressing a resistance to blood flow flowing into a branched blood vessel to the minimum.SOLUTION: A bifurcation stent 400 includes a first end 410 which is deformable or crushable at a lower force than a second end 412. The crushable first end and more rigid second end of the bifurcation stent allow one end of the stent to remain expanded in tissue supporting configuration in a side branch blood vessel 300 of a vessel bifurcation while the other end is easily crushed against the sidewall of the main vessel 200 into which a stent 450 extends.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】枝血管に流入する血流に対する抵抗を最小限に抑えた支持を行うことができる分岐ステントシステムを提供する。【解決手段】分岐ステント400は、第2の端部412より小さい力で変形可能又は圧潰可能である第1の端部410を有する。分岐ステントの圧潰可能な第1の端部及び剛性を高めた第2の端部により、ステントの一端部を血管分岐部の側枝血管300内で組織支持形態に拡張させておきながら、他端部を容易に圧潰させて、ステント450が通っている主血管200の側壁に当てることができる。【選択図】図6A
