The present invention relates to a method for measuring the diameter of a blood vessel. The method includes: a step of generating intensity profile data of a blood vessel including the diameter-direction distance of the blood vessel and related intensity based on a medical image including the blood vessel； and a step of evaluating the diameter of the blood vessel using the value of x which is acquired from a diameter equation: area of the intensity profile of the vessel which is defined as the integration of intensity by distance = reference intensity of the blood vessel * x.본 개시는 혈관을 포함하는 의료영상을 기초로 혈관의 직경 방향 거리와 거리에 관련된 인텐시티(intensity)를 포함하는 혈관의 인텐시티(intensity) 프로파일(profile) 데이터가 생성되는 단계； 그리고 인텐시티를 거리로 적분한 적분 값으로 정의되는 혈관의 인텐시티 프로파일의 면적 = 혈관의 기준 인텐시티 ＊ x로 정의된 직경 방정식으로부터 구해진 x를 사용하여 혈관의 직경이 평가되는 단계；를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 혈관의 직경 측정 방법에 관한 것이다.
