The invention relates to an ecological process for cultivating the species Pleurotus eryngii in open space, in two cycles per year, in small farmers gardens, by using the farm agricultural wastes and the unused agricultural field portions, with a maximum yield of 1.93 kg of mushrooms/ 1 square meter. According to the invention, the process consists in preparing a field for cultivation in open space, with a minimum surface of 2.1 x 1.6 square meters, in two stages:a. fencing the field with wood boards (2) having a thickness of 2 cm and a height of 10 cm, except for the lateral sides where metallic bars (1), with a thickness of 2.5 cm, are fixed into reinforced concrete for supporting the entire structure, at the exterior the cultivation field being covered with green Soleado shading foil with a shading degree of 90%, and the foil being fixed onto the supporting pillars and the wooden border with some black plastic collars with a size of 3.6 x 250 mm, andb. preparing the layers starting with the first layer (4a) comprising colour-free egg cartons, over which a substrate layer (4b) with a thickness of 5 cm is applied, another granulated mycellium layer (4c) is laid, uniformly spread by hand, previously disinfected with ethanol 70%, after which it is covered with another substrate layer (4d) with a thickness of 5 cm, and, in the end, it is covered with a compact layer (4e) of colour-free natural mulch, namely coniferous bark, with a thickness ranging between 3...5 cm, the substrate used being a mixture comprising beech wood dust, vermiculite and universal horticultural soil in ratios of 2 : 1 : 1, and after application on each layer it is watered with well cold water.Invenţia se referă la un procedeu ecologic de cultivare în spaţiu deschis, în două cicluri pe an, a specieiîn grădinile micilor fermieri, valorificând deşeurile agricole din fermă şi porţiunile de teren agricol neutilizate, cu o productivitate maximă de 1,93 kg de ciuperci/1 m.
