PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laborsaving device which efficiently removes the surface soil covering a farm land.SOLUTION: A surface soil excavation device 101 which is attached to a traveling machine such as a tractor 301 for use. The surface soil excavation device 101 comprises: an excavation part 102 which extends in a direction in approximately parallel with the ground surface GL2 and in crossing with the traveling direction of the tractor 301 and an excavation claw 105 which is rotation-driven so as to excavate the surface soil of the ground surface GL2. The surface soil excavation device 101 includes a transportation part 103 which is arranged on the rear side of the rotation axis 104 of the excavation part 102 in the traveling direction and extends in parallel with the ground surface GL2 so as to transport and discharge the surface soil excavated by the excavation part 102 to the side of the excavation part 102. The excavation part 102 and the transportation part 103 are rotation-driven with power from the tractor 301, allowing the surface soil of the ground surface GL2 to be excavated and transported.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】農地を覆う表土を省力的かつ効率的に取り除く。【解決手段】表土掘削装置101は、トラクタ301等の走行機に装着されて用いられる。表土掘削装置101に設けられる掘削部102は、地表面GL2と略平行かつトラクタ301の進行方向と交差する方向に延び、掘削爪105が回転駆動して地表面GL2の表土を削り取る。搬送部103は、表土掘削装置101において掘削部回転軸104よりも進行方向の後方側に設けられ地表面GL2と平行に延び、掘削部102により削り取られた表土を掘削部102の側方に搬送放出する。掘削部102や搬送部103は、トラクタ301からの動力を受けて回転駆動し、これにより地表面GL2の表土の掘削や搬送がなされる。【選択図】図5
