PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having characteristics to bend largely to a butt part and preventing the crushing phenomenon of a blank near the front end of a rod constituting component such as a ferrule.SOLUTION: A butt part of a blank 10 is made hollow, and the butt part of the blank 10 is inserted and fixed in a rod mounting hole 15 that belongs to a ferrule 11 and is opened on a forward end.
