The safety apparatus includes two footrest pressure sensors, a processing module, a warning module and a power source module. The two footrest pressure sensors are respectively installed at the left footrest and the right footrest and capable of sending a pressure sensing signal. The processing module is installed to the main body of the wheelchair, which is able to receive and process the pressure sensing signal and also send a warming signal.
