PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device which does not need a force for making a contact member pressure-contact with a wheel, is easy in adjustment for making the contact member contact with the wheel, and can stably impart a friction force.SOLUTION: An upper brake 3 for braking the rotation of a wheel 2 comprises a contact member 31 which makes a curved face-shaped external peripheral face 311 contact with a wheel 2, and a shaft member 32 which is arranged in an eccentric position displaced from a center of the contact member 31, and supports the contact member 31 so as to be turnable. The contact member 31 pressure-contacts with the wheel 2 while rotating from a state of contacting with the wheel 2 by its own weight accompanied by the rotation of the wheel 2 in one direction, a contact part interval C between the shaft member 32 and a contact part 311a which contacts with the wheel 2 is turned and changed, and a friction force imparted to the wheel 2 is also changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】接触部材を車輪に圧接するための力を必要とせず、また、接触部材を車輪に接触させる調整が容易であり、摩擦力を安定して付与することが可能な制動装置を提供する。【解決手段】車輪2の回転を制動する上ブレーキ3において、曲面状の外周面311を車輪2に接触させる接触部材31と、接触部材31の中心からズレた偏心位置に設けられ接触部材31を回動可能に支持する軸部材32とを備え、接触部材31は、自重により車輪2に接触した状態から車輪2の一方向の回転に伴い回動して車輪2に圧接し、軸部材32と車輪2に接触する接触部311aとの接触部間隔Cが回動することで変化し車輪2に付与される摩擦力も変化するものである。【選択図】図2
