A snack food comprises a plurality of non-identically shaped and three-dimensionally shaped snack food chips. Each snack food chip is substantially rigid and includes at least one concavity which is shaped and dimensioned so as to be able to hold, in a spoon-like manner, a portion of a dip. Each snack food chip also includes at least one substantially flat portion shaped so as to be able to function as a manually-engageable handle portion. The snack-food chips preferably form a population which is randomised in shape, with all of the chips having a different three-dimensional shape. The chips are preferably tortilla chips formed from a maize-based composition.
