Further, the present invention provides a wood-based material that can be practically used for applications such as building materials by utilizing the separated vascular bundle, and a method for producing the same. The coconut material is separated into vascular bundles and parenchyma cells by using means such as crushing, squeezing, blasting, and high-pressure water jet. A plurality of separated vascular bundles are combined and combined with a resin material to be used as a structural material of a wood-based material. On the other hand, the isolated parenchymal cells are used as a feed for livestock and a raw material for bioethanol.これまで利用されることなく放置されていたオイルパーム材などのヤシ材を維管束と柔細胞とに効率よく分離し、これらをそれぞれ有効に利用するヤシ材の利用方法を提供する。また、分離した維管束を利用して実用的に建材などの用途に利用可能な木質系材料及びその製造方法を提供する。ヤシ材を粉砕、圧搾、爆砕、水流高圧噴射等の手段を用いて維管束と柔細胞とに分離する。分離された維管束を複数組み合わせて樹脂材料で結合し、木質系材料の構造材として利用する。一方、分離された柔細胞を家畜用飼料やバイオエタノールの原料として利用する。
