The present invention relates to a steamer for steaming fresh ginseng using steam. A steamer according to the present invention automatically discharges exceeded steam when it exceeds a set pressure by supplying steam into the steamer such that a steaming process is performed under a predetermined pressure, is capable of forcibly discharging steam within a chamber to the outside by introducing a line which injects external air to the floor along a back wall after performing the steaming process, and facilitates entering and leaving of a carriage by enabling an air cylinder to ascend or descend a hinge part of a steamer door, thereby removing a stepped part between the floor of a workshop and a bottom within the steamer.
