The invention provides an endoscope system, wherein in a special optical observation mode, a filter turntable (32) is inserted into the light path of the broadband light (Bb). The filter turntable (32) is provided with a close-range observation filter (37) and a far-range observation filter (38). A first blue narrowband light (Bn1) and a first green narrowband light (Gn1) can pass through the close-range observation filter (37), while a second blue narrowband light (Bn2) and a second green narrowband light (Gn2) can pass through the far-range observation filter (38).
