PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an optimal combination of a transmitted frequency (reference frequency) and a transmitted repetition frequency (PRF) in the case that a speed range expands in a pulse doppler method.
SOLUTION: An indication value regulating a speed range is increased, and a reference frequency is reduced stepwise, and PRF is successively densified in each step. It causes a saw tooth pattern to be generated on a graph showing PRF. A combination condition of the reference frequency and PRF can be arranged in order to generate the saw tooth pattern not only at a high-pass side but a low-pass side. A character (table) corresponding to a probe band priority mode and a character (table) corresponding to a probe temperature priority mode are prepared and they can be used selectively.
