PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device certain, allowing easy and smooth insertion by aiming the endoscope device at a desired position, when inserting the endoscope device into a body cavity such as an extremely small-diameter bile/pancreatic duct.SOLUTION: This endoscope device is disposed with a forceps port 37 through which a treatment tool is inserted, an observation window 39 for observing a test subject, and an illumination window emitting illumination light, in the tip face 35 of an endoscope insertion part 13 having a curve part 19 allowing curve operation. A part 81 of the tip face of the endoscope insertion part 13 is formed projectingly to the axial direction tip of the endoscope insertion part 13, and the projected part 81 of the tip face is disposed in a position stored inside an observation visual field from the observation window 39. Preferably, the projected part 81 of the tip face is a tongue piece 85 formed in a flat shape.
