PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for an endoscope that radiates illumination light incident to an optical guide member from a light emitting section to an observation field-of-view range of an observation optical system included in a side view endoscope, and solves a problem wherein an observation image of a subject blurs in white.
SOLUTION: This luminaire 10 for an endoscope is provided with: a cylinder 20 for observation and a light emitter 40. The cylinder 20 for observation is provided with: an endoscope insertion hole 21 that is made of the optical guide member and in which an insertion section 3 of the endoscope 2 for side view is inserted and an opening 22 for observation for exposing an observation window 6 included in the endoscope 2 for side view in the axial direction orthogonal to the endoscope insertion hole 21. In the cylinder 20 for observation, reflecting surfaces 28 and 29 for reflecting the illumination light for observation incident to the cylinder 20 for observation in the axial direction orthogonal to the insertion hole axis 21a, are disposed in a predetermined position on the end side of an end side opening end 22b of the opening 22 for observation, and in a predetermined position on the base end side of a base end side opening end 22c, respectively.
