PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beauty appliance which prevents short-circuit and malfunction when cosmetic liquid adheres to electric devices or the like mounted on a circuit substrate even when the cosmetic liquid enters a body case, furthermore, to eliminate overheating of the beauty appliance, and improve safety and reliability.SOLUTION: The beauty appliance comprise a body case 1, a head 2 for cooling a skin face, a cooling part 12 including a thermoelectric conversion element 44 for cooling the head 2, a heat sink 30 for dissipation connected to the cooling part 12, and an air blowing fan 31 for supplying heat exchanging air to the heat sink 30. The body case 1 includes an electric part area 15 with a control circuit 87 arranged for controlling drive of the thermoelectric conversion element 44 and a ventilation area 13 with the heat sink 30 and the air blowing fan 31 arranged thereon. The ventilation area 13 has an air suction opening 61 and an air exhaust opening 62.
