PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beauty appliance shortening a head cooling preparation period and reducing power consumption and to provide a beauty appliance enhancing safety and reliability by preventing a short circuit and a malfunction caused by the adhesion of lotion to an electronic component and the like mounted on a circuit board, even in such a case that the lotion intrudes into a body case, and by eliminating the case of bringing the beauty appliance into an overheated state.SOLUTION: The beauty appliance includes the body case 1, a head 2 for cooling a skin surface, a cooling unit 12 that includes a thermoelectric conversion element 44 for cooling the head 2, a heat sink 30 for heat dissipation, which is connected to the cooling unit 12, and a blast means 31 for supplying heat exchange air to the heat sink 30.
