PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beauty appliance shortening a head cooling preparation period and reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: The beauty appliance includes the body case 1, a head 2 for cooling a skin surface, a cooling unit 12 that includes a thermoelectric conversion element 44 for cooling the head 2, a heat sink 30 for heat dissipation, which is connected to the cooling unit 12, a blast means 31 for supplying heat exchange air to the heat sink 30, and a sound generation display means 95. The drive of the thermoelectric conversion element 44 and the blast means 31 is started by operations of switches 3 and 4 that are provided in the body case 1 the drive of the blast means 31 is stopped after a lapse of predetermined time and the drive of the thermoelectric conversion element 44 is stopped after a further lapse of predetermined time.
