PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust exposure time for each line even by a simple and general-purpose circuit configuration.SOLUTION: In an electronic endoscope apparatus including a video scope provided with a CMOS image sensor on a distal end part, reset signals to all pixels are output, and pixel signals are read in the descending line order of luminance values. The read pixel signals are aligned so as to be the same array as a pixel signal array before changing a read line.
