PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system comprising two endoscopes, in which endoscope system provides clear endoscope images with no bright spots by making each endoscope eliminate a bright spot caused by illumination light of the other endoscope.SOLUTION: An endoscope system 1 comprises endoscopes 11, 21 and a controller 4. Two illumination windows 2b, 3b respectively of the endoscopes 11, 21 emit their respective illumination light in such a manner that an emitting state and a non-emitting state are repeated at a timing to exclude the other state.
