PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical puncture needle, which can secure good puncture performance and bend the progress direction of an insertion body with respect to the central axis line of a needle body so as not to harm a vascular wall etc., by the tip end of the insertion body.SOLUTION: The medical puncture needle 10 has: a needle body 30 with a straight pipe shape with a lumen 31 formed, into which a flexible insertion body 20 is freely inserted and a blade surface 33 including a tip opening 32 tilted to the central axis line C of the needle body. The medical puncture needle further has a guide member 40 provided on the lumen inner surface on a cutting edge side in the lumen inner surface continued to the blade surface.
