PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter that prevents an unnecessary stress from being applied to living tissue, and can be smoothly inserted into living tissue through a constant U-shaped puncture route even if the catheter has a reduced diameter.SOLUTION: The catheter 1 at least a part of which is inserted into living tissue, includes: a puncture needle 2 having a sharp tip end 2a an internal lumen and side holes 5 and 6 communicating with the internal lumen. The catheter has a body 3 at least a part of which is flexible.
