PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking member that hard to be broken as for a double nut for use in a reel seat.SOLUTION: A reel seat 20 includes a cylindrical reel seat body externally mounted to a rod body 10 and configured to receive a first leg of a fishing reel, a movable hood for receiving a second leg of the fishing reel, and a nut mechanism for moving the movable hood along the axial direction of the rod body. The nut mechanism is so-called a double nut. This nut mechanism has a first nut 26 screwed in the male screw of the reel seat body, a second nut 27 screwed in the male screw of the reel seat body, and a sleeve 28 mounted around the rod body so as not to be turned between the first nut and the second nut.
