PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for heating by a microwave oven which, when cooking frozen jiaozi, etc. in the container with a microwave oven, can provide crispy feeling as if it were baked on a frying pan, and which container prevents the jiaozi from being excessively burnt.SOLUTION: The container for heating by the microwave oven is placed in the microwave oven to heat cook a food. The container includes a pedestal having a food bearing surface on which the food is placed, a conductive material layer which is formed on the food bearing surface and generates heat when exposed to micro waves, and a container body which houses the pedestal and the conductive material layer.
