PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container in which food composed of solid materials and liquid material is sealed to prevent liquid leakage when transporting the container and with which the food can be homogeneously heated by short-time cooking.SOLUTION: A food container 1 stores food composed of solid materials 32 and liquid material 33, and includes a boxy body 10 made of a metal material, and a sheet-like lid 20 at least part of which is made of a metal material and which is bonded to the periphery of the opening of the body to air-tightly cover it. The thickness of the lid is thinner than the thickness of the body.
