The present invention relates to Solanaceae plants for producing fruits rich in anthocyanins concentration, wherein said plant comprises a mutated fading gene. Furthermore the present invention relates to a method of providing a Solanaceae plant for producing fruits rich in anthocyanins concentration. The plant of present invention is capable of producing fruits that are high in anthocyanin concentration. The plants and fruits produced by the plants of present invention have a reduced degradation of anthocyanins during ripening of the fruits.La présente invention concerne des plantes solanacées pour la production de fruits riches en concentration d'anthocyanines, lesdites plantes comprenant un gène d'atténuation muté. En outre, la présente invention concerne un procédé de fourniture d'une plante solanacée pour la production de fruits riches en concentration d'anthocyanines.
