PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device and a plant cultivation method for efficiently supplying liquid to plants being cultivated.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device 10 comprises plant cultivation cylinders P1 erected in a vertical direction. An upper tank 35 is arranged on a top part of the plant cultivation cylinders P1. Culture solution pooled in the upper tank 35 is supplied from a connection pipe protruded downward from a bottom part of the upper tank 35 to the plant cultivation cylinders P1. A lower tank 31 which pools culture solution flown through the plant cultivation cylinders P1 is arranged below the plant cultivation cylinders P1. A pump 32 is installed to the lower tank 31.
