PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation apparatus reducing the concentration of nitrate nitrogen in cultivated plants at different times to harvest the cultivated plants, thereby reducing an environmental load.SOLUTION: The plant cultivation apparatus 1 includes: a culture fluid tank 3 storing a culture fluid； a culture fluid circulating system 5 supplying each cultivation tray 2 with the culture fluid from the culture fluid tank 3 and returning the culture fluid to the culture fluid tank 3； and a pre-harvesting adjustment space 6 installed separately from the cultivation trays 2 and adjusting the concentration of nitrate nitrogen in the plants by allowing the plants to absorb water.【課題】異なる時期において栽培植物内の硝酸態窒素の濃度を低減して栽培植物を収穫することができ、環境負荷を小さくできる植物栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培装置１は、養液が貯留される養液タンク３と、この養液タンク３から養液を各栽培トレイ２へ供給して上記養液タンク３に戻す養液循環システム５と、上記栽培トレイ２とは別に設置され、植物に水を吸収させて植物内の硝酸態窒素の濃度を調整する収穫前調整スペース６と、を備えている。【選択図】図１
