PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device and a plant cultivation method for improve an environmental condition in plant cultivation using a plant cultivation cylinder erected in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device 10 comprises plant cultivation cylinders P1 erected in a vertical direction and pillars 11. The pillar 11 consists of a hollow member in which a plurality of holes are formed. Carbonic acid gas is supplied into a hollow part of the pillar 11, and carbonic acid gas can be flown out from the holes. A control unit 50 allows carbonic acid gas to flow out from the holes of the pillar 11 if carbonic acid gas is being supplied in the case where a temperature difference in a space 20 where the plant cultivation cylinders P1 are arranged exceeds an allowable range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】垂直方向に立設された植物栽培筒を用いた植物栽培において、環境条件を良好にするための植物栽培装置及び植物栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培装置10は、垂直方向に立設された植物栽培筒P1と柱11とを備えている。柱11は、複数の孔が形成された中空部材で構成されている。柱11の中空部には、炭酸ガスが供給されており、孔から炭酸ガスを流出可能となっている。制御ユニット50は、植物栽培筒P1が配置された空間20内の温度差が許容範囲を超えた場合、炭酸ガス供給中であれば、炭酸ガスを柱11の孔から流出させる。【選択図】図1
