PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation container for ornamental plants structured so that through holes communicating with the inside and the outside of a cultivation container can be flexibly opened or closed in accordance with the growth stage of the plant or the use environment of the container so as to enable favorable growth of seedlings and easy transplantation thereof.SOLUTION: The cultivation container 1 for ornamental plants P includes: a container body 2 which is formed into a bottomed cylindrical state and at the side face of which through-holes 8 are formed and a cover member 3 formed so as to enable the openings of the through-holes 8 to be closed.
